I hope everyone enjoys Mother's Day. It's my wish that every woman who has made a difference in a child's life would receive a hug, a smile and a thank you this weekend. The world is a tough place for kids. It's confusing enough for adults, can you imagine how it feels to children? Never underestimate how much difference you can make in a child's life.
My daughter is learning to write poetry in school. She handed me these two poems yesterday.
Mom
You are
An awesome mother
No one could be
Better
Brenda you are the best
Rounding up love
Enjoying life, she
Never stops loving
Doing
Awesome
No matter what else my kids give me this weekend these two poems are the best gift I could be given. Motherhood is an adventure. It's often chaotic and at times I've been unsure if I was doing it the right way. Knowing my kids feel loved IS awesome.
Happy Mother's Day.

Precious. Just precious. Those are keepers, as we say.
And you'll always get a big smile and a warm feeling, whenever you take them out and read them again, in the years to come.
